On April 27th and 28th, the Mohawk Valley Hockey Club held their annual Big Assist Ball Hockey Tournament. This year they chose Hockey Fights T1D to be the beneficiary of the proceeds from the event.
50 players gathered over the weekend in the gym of the Mohawk Valley YMCA, to play out a double elimination ball hockey tournament. Tournament sponsors included Twin Rivers Paper Corporation, USW Local #1438, ACE Hardware Little Falls, Kelly’s Meat Market and Jeff Zoller CLU. Each player who participated received a tournament t-shirt, and water bottles that were donated by Pure Hockey.
Pictured above is MVHC President Scott Kinville (and a few members of the club) presenting Logan, our co-founder, with a check for $800.00 for the proceeds of the event.
